From Real Estate to Education: Our Journey

At Elite Edge Real Estate Training, we are not just about sales, transactions, or market trends, we are about empowering the next generation of real estate professionals. What started as a lifelong passion for property has evolved into a mission to educate and guide students toward success.

After 18 months of dedication, we achieved a major milestone when we were awarded RTO accreditation by ASQA in December 2024, marking the launch of Elite Edge Real Estate Training.

Cathy Dalton’s Journey: From Real Estate to Education

I began my real estate career at the age of 22, working with top agencies like LJ Hooker and Jones Lang LaSalle to Lendlease. From marketing and sales to property management and client relations, I gained a wealth of experience across the industry in small boutique agencies to large corporations. But my passion did not stop there; I felt drawn to help others build the skills and confidence to succeed, which led me to transition into education.

Fifteen years on, after working with TAFE, WA, several private RTOs, including REIWA, I refined my expertise and knew I wanted to combine my love for real estate with education. Creating a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) from scratch was not easy, but after months of planning, designing, and refining, Elite Edge was born, set to offer high-quality, industry-aligned training.

Our Mission and Vision

At Elite Edge, our mission is simple: to bridge the gap between education and real-world practice. Our aim is for students to walk away with practical skills, industry knowledge, and the confidence to succeed. We do not just want students to complete a course; we want them to thrive in their careers.

Initially focusing on Townsville and Far North Queensland, our goal is to meet the local needs before expanding across Queensland to provide accessible real estate education to more students.
